Simplicity of Love"The day will come when, after harnessing space, the winds, the tides, gravitation, we shall harness the energies of love. And, on that day, for the second time in the history of the world, man will have discovered fire." (Pierre Teilhard de Chardin )
This I believe. The more I seek, the more I am stunned by the utter simplicity of love. When all the words, the thoughts, the concepts are boiled down and reduced to their essence, it will be love. When all the complications and labyrinthine turnings of human relations are brought to the center, to the root, it will be love. Love is the simplicity of a two letter word - when "me" becomes "we".
Life has always tended toward chaos for me, toward complications, snarls, tangles, knots, unsorted piles and mixed up messes. In recent years I have come to find this one, pure, calm, uncomplicated part of life. If I am able to be still, I can feel that under all the windings and turnings, the snarls, tangles and knots ... is the simplicity of love. It is simple, because it is everything. Comforting and clear, full and whole ... when I am able to be still.
