Really, what does "post" refer to in the label post-metaphysical spirituality?
Why not use the term "pre"?
Both terms denote a time-frame of sorts. Both metaphysical thought and spiritual thought involve the ceasing of time-frame concepts.

Spirit basic thrust deals with the Essence of "things". Insofar as spirit is the essence of things, spirituality deals with coming to know the essence of things. "Things" is constrained to the domain of space and time, the essence of which cannot be constrained to that. It is the Essence of things that gives rise to the domain of space and time, space and time do not give rise to the Essence of things.
Is it the concepts we are talking about? Or is it the realization?
If it is the concept then we are intellectualizing upon nothing.
If is is the realization, then we need not concepts.
What are we "seeking"?...if I may ask...
